The Bariatric Experts Now Offers Telemedicine

Most Americans have distanced themselves socially to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. However, for many, being in quarantine for extended periods of time can lead to boredom binges! This may be a good time to contemplate weight loss options like bariatric surgery.

To counter the spread of infectious disease, but continue to help people achieve their weight loss goals and improve their health, The Bariatric Experts is now available through Telemedicine consultations. Our dietitians are also available to provide diet and nutrition consultations.

Telemedicine Consultations are Risk Free!

Telemedicine removes the health risks involved with patients seeking medical advice in-office and adheres to “stay at home” orders. Our physicians provide information to patients remotely, which eliminates making a trip to our office. Dr. Stowers, Dr. Wright and our staff will personally offer guidance and answer questions regarding bariatric procedures, medically supervised weight loss, nutrition, and general surgery procedures. Patients can inquire about the types of bariatric procedures available and how they enable weight loss. They can also learn what to expect before, during, and after the procedure.

How To Schedule a Telemedicine Consultation

Patients interested must make an appointment in advance, so please call ahead to schedule a consultation. Our telemedicine service is available during regular business hours. If a patient decides to make an in-house appointment, it will be scheduled for a future date when businesses are able to open freely again.

Patients wishing to schedule a Telemedicine consultation can call our office Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our phone number is (940) 577-2090. Call today to set up an online appointment, and be on your way to living the life you love!
